Activities

Salakyatantra department is flourished with well-equipped OPD which owns modern diagnostic facilities like AB scan, NCT, Audiometry and a fully functional refraction unit with an optometrist. IP Department can manage an average of 60 IP patients per month. Retinal diseases especially Diabetic Retinopathy, CSR, CSME and other ophthalmic conditions like Myopia, Hypermetropia, astigmatism are managed both  as Op & Ip with positive and excellent results. Department has Post graduation and research facilities with a strength of 6 pg seats per year

Clinical as well as theory classes along with hands on training for UG & PG students are made available in this department. Netra kriya kalpas , the pride of Salakyatantra are done on daily basis in the OPD especially Anjanam, sekam, aschyotanam, bidalakam, etc
